I have gone through all the documentation at the site. There are the "installation tips" and the "driver release notes". I have gone through all this documentation several times and tried just about everything over and over again. I have tried running the make scripts in the module directory. I thought I was having problems with the config files. What am I supposed to do to get these drivers successfully installed?
What exactly is your problem?
I had some problems becouse my nForce2 chipset wouldn't work with non-NVIDIA cards (for the moment at least).
BTW, there is no "official" ATI driver for XFree 4.3.0
