Hi,
I have a radeon 9000 Pro, running Redhat 9, updated XFree86 to the
latest rawhide version 4.3.0-8. I am using all of this with a Viewsonic
VP201m LCD display running at 1600x1200.
I find I get some horizontal streaking that is independent of the
application I am running.

If you put up a black background, you can see thin light coloured
horizontal lines flickering (ie a fraction of a second). Here, I've put
up a gnome-terminal and a web page with black backgrounds ... it is
clearly a global issue, and not related to individual apps.
I tried toggling 16 and 24 bit colour, tuning on/off 3e acceleration
(via redhat-config-xfree). Same problem.
Any ideas?
