I'm trying to install XFree86,
and during the make install, when it tries to compile mkfontscale.c
it gives an error saying that PS_FontInfoRec is undeclared:
gcc -m32 -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -march=i686 -ansi -pedantic -pipe
-I/usr/include/freetype2 -I../.. -I../../exports/include -Dlinux
-D__i386__ -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=199309L -D_POSIX_SOURCE -D_XOPEN_SOURCE
-D_BSD_SOURCE -D_SVID_SOURCE -D_GNU_SOURCE -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO
-DFREETYPE2 -c -o mkfontscale.o mkfontscale.c
mkfontscale.c: In function `doDirectory':
mkfontscale.c:355: `PS_FontInfoRec' undeclared (first use in this function)
mkfontscale.c:355: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
mkfontscale.c:355: for each function it appears in.)
mkfontscale.c:355: `t1info' undeclared (first use in this function)
mkfontscale.c:355: `t1info_rec' undeclared (first use in this function)
mkfontscale.c:357: warning: ISO C89 forbids mixed declarations and code
now, I checked it, and it is declared at
freetype/t1tables.h(/usr/include/freetype2/freetype/t1tables.h), which is
included from mkfontscale.c,
and I verified that it includes that file by putting an error into it and
compiling mkfontscale.c - and I got error message for what I did...
I'm using gcc 3.2.3 and freetype-2.0.4, does someone know what's wrong?
Thanks,
-Amir.
