I am attempting to run xfree86 in OpenDarwin 6.6.1 on a ppc (Mac PowerBook 12"). I never get X to launch (using startx). I am using an external hard drive (iPod). I'm using OpenDarwin because it was the only Linux or BSD Unix-type software that would recognize an external drive during installation.
I have dumped the error messages to a log file (see below). I am using fink as a package manager.
