I'm running a Linux-server and -terminal both with XFree 4.3.0. The terminal is interfaced by XDMCP/KDM to the server. On the server I want to set the environment variable "ARTS_SERVER=ip:port". Is there any way to get the IP of a connected terminal in a session from XFree/XDMCP/KDM to use in a script for setting the evironment variable? Or maybe there is a environment variable keeping the client's IP?
