You are using the "nv" driver that came with XFree86 in conjunction
with the GLX module that came with NVIDIA's drivers. This is incompatible.
If you want to run the "nv" driver that came with XFree86, remove
NVIDIA's GLX module /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so.
If you wanted to run NVIDIA's drivers you need to complete the
installation (editing the XF86Config file to use Driver "nvidia" instead
of Driver "nv", at least).
