Ive not tried this myself, but this solution came up resently on _this_
list:

Make a file called blank.xbm containing the following:

#define blank_width 1
#define blank_height 1
#define blank_x_hot 0
#define blank_y_hot 0
static unsigned char blank_bits[] = {
0x00};
---//---
Then do "xsetroot -cursor blank.xbm blank.xbm" . Now your root pointer
will be blank.
