I have installed xfree86 4.3.0 but apparently the only resolution I am allowed to use
is 640x480 @ 75 Hz even if I have configured the system to use also both 800x600 and 1024x768
@ 75Hz . The video card is an S3 prosavage ddr K4M266 ( this is taken from the XF86Config
file created by xf86cfg ) and the monitor I'm using is an lcd Samsung SyncMaster 152n
with 30 - 60 KHz , 56 - 75 Hz , and 1024 x 768 max resolution. Operating system : freebsd 4.8.
Any suggestions ?
