I'm not attaching the log file because there isn't any error reported in there. X-window works, I can select menu items and launch them. For instance the Mozilla screen appears fine. There are some anomalies that I can't figure out.
1) The first screen from boot-up has two windows, one for login and one is xconsole. Both are filled with what looks like tiny cursors. When I drag the mouse through the top part of xconsole, the cursors clear up and part of syslog appears.
2) In the main menu, starting from the top, the second and fifth item positions are filled up with those tiny cursors again.
Would appreciate some answers.
