Did you get any further on this one? I'm experiencing the same problems
again:
X Error of failed request: BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib
length error)
Major opcode of failed request: 148 (RENDER)
Minor opcode of failed request: 20 ()
Serial number of failed request: 5590
Current serial number in output stream: 5713
And this time I don't have a workaround.
Brief refresher: Red Hat 7.3, XFree86 4.2.1, running a Wine application
against Xvfb.
