I'm new to dealing with the xfree86 source, but have a via epia m10000 board with the new nehemia c3-2 processor, that I need to get flying so I have downloaded the xc source tree from anoncvs.xfree86.org and have received some extra source code from via that should do the job...

My first question is if this code for ther CLE266is already in the cvs xc source tree?

Another question is that they (via) suggests down loading from cvs.dri.sourceforge.net. Is there any difference between this one and the anoncvs.xfree86.org one?

A third question is if I'll need to upgrade my compiler (I'm using debian woody with homebrewed 2.4.21 kernel, but standard gcc-2.95) to 3.3 to do the xfree86 compiling?

Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated

thanks
anders
