Dear Sir, you are quite possibly missing the file /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a that matches your current version of XFree86.
i suppose you have to get the latest XF86 library package from the red hat ftp servers or some mirror and install or upgrade to them. i cant track that down in detail because i have not telnet access to a RH 9.0 machine but only to an 8.0 machine. at least the lib presence or absence is probably the most important point at the moment. -Alex. > -----Original Message----- > From: Hari Krishna Addepalli [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, August 18, 2003 20:08 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [XFree86] problem > > > Sir, > My system configuration is P-III 500Mhz,128MB RAM, 810DST Intel > motherboard.
