I've been trying to configure my display. Using cf86cfg command the display inits and then when the screen pops up it starts jumping (tilts). But when I use cf86cfg -textmode the config program starts well with a good resolution screen. I have a dell latitude LX_4100 portabile computer and with windows I have great screen resolution. How can I configure or fix x-server to run on my PC? x-sever does start in 256 colors and a screen resolution of 600x400 60hz, but the resolution is almost impossible to work on. I can also mail a XFree86.0.log file if needed, any path or tips on how to resolve this problem will be appreciated. Thank you........
