Attempting to install Mandrake distro 9.1 on Celeron 500MHz, 256 RAM, 4
M vidram on 86c368 ( Trio 3D/2X card. When I config I can get to Test
with a Yes on several settings but the Xserver won't connect for KDE or
Gnome. Monitor is Daytek 1531, 50/60 rate. I have no XFree86. log but a
look at etc/X11/ XFree86 Config just lists all the sync combinations
that are deleted. Ideas?? I have installed the distro 5 times, at one
point I had Gnome GUI but not now. Thx, John
