Hi There, I'm running FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE on my ThinkPad T21 laptop. I'm using XFree86-4.2.0 which is included on the install disk. When I exit X the system completely locks up. I can't switch to a different virtual terminal, CTRL-ALT-BKSP does nothing, and I must reboot via the power button. This laptop has the S3 Savage IX video card and I'm using the Vesa driver.
Has anyone else seen this problem? I'm going to try XFree86-4.3.0 later today and see if I can reproduce the problem.
