I am running 4.0.3 (I did find a possible alternative, however, I wanted to see if there is a solution with XFree86.org.)
I searched your website for the error that I received: "RADEON(0) No valid mode found for this DFP/LCD" "Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration",
I have used the "ATI Radeon 8500" device with a ViewSonic A70" Monitor
in the XF86config file and I got the above error. Do you have any suggestions.
(I hope not to replace the video card.)
