Hi all together. We are using XFree 4.3.0.1 and I have a question about to reset a connected ps/2 mouse when exiting XFree btw. shutting down the system. The situation because I'm asking is that we have some Laptops (ca. 5000) IBM T30 which are sometimes connected via Dockingstation or a portreplicator (when they are loading automaticly an update for example). In some cases these portreplicators / dockingstations are sharing mouse /keyboard/monitor with a second computer (not a laptop) with an electronic KVM Switch (eQuip).
We are using Mouse whit XFree Option "Protocol" "Auto". When we are now rebooting, it happens that the Laptop shows IBM Logo and hangs in this situation. So our assistants have to unplug the ps/2 mouse and plug it in again and the system comes up correctly. Any Idea?
