Intel 845 is supported only in XFree 4.3.0. Update your XFree server and it shoud work fine.

Hi,

 

This is regarding the installation of Intel chipset 845 display drivers for redhat linux 7.1

 

I installed the driver using the intel tar package. After that I tried the startx command .But it is not started and I got the error message. Plz find the attached error log and send me a proper solution as early as possible. I shall be waiting to hear from you.
