I`m testing the norwegian system Skolelinux. (www.skolelinux.no)
My graphic card is a SiS 6215.
This card is not supported by the XFree86 4.x SiS driver (as you probably already found out).
Perhaps XFree86 3.3 supports this card natively.
Which driver should i use? The vesa-driver is the closest i get, but the colors is not good.......
The vesa driver uses the card's BIOS for mode setup. If the colors are bad with this driver, this is as good as it gets.
any ideas?
Apart from tossing this old card, unfortunately no :(
