Israelis are, for the most part, from Europe and only claim Semitic ancestry as an excuse to occupy the land they have taken by force. But when Mr. Gibson portrays their chosen ancestor in the light of traditional Biblical history, they cry FOUL! The want him to cast round faced, smiling, blue eyed, Jesus tolerant Europeans (like themselves) as actors in The Passion. Israeli politicians and Israeli Patriots in America cannot have it both ways.
