As I said 4.3.0 did not handle 9200 DVI ports correctly. Either of the snapshots should work fine. The DRI ones would provide the best 3d support. The DRI snapshots are pretty hassle free and only require replacing a few binaries: http://dri.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/Download read the snapshot section.

I have the choice between the two, and would like to keep my system hassle-free (e.g. using precompiled packages rather than compiling from source where possible).
