[XFree86] Server crash

Hi, I have a problem with my XFree 86 v. 4.3.0 on linux Mandrake 9.2 I've changed the resolution and now my server fails to run ad report this error   I/O error 104   What can I do, how can I fix it?   I thank you in advance Elmira   ps: I'm new to Linux.
