Hi, I ask for help a couple of weeks ago in vain, I cannot believe that nobody can answer. Distribution is RH 9.0 I have a combination Matrox G550 / Samsung Syncmaster 181T flatscreen I had acceleration and everything was fine. I changed mainboard from an ASUS A7V to an A7N8X deluxe (which can go up to AGP 8x) and upgraded my AMD Athlon from 1.0GH to 2.6GH, Linux and X reacted well but for the 3D acceleration which got lost in the process. I get the following message in the log:
drmOpenDevice: Open failed [drm] failed to load kernel module "agpgart" [drm] failed to load kernel module "mga" (II) MGA(0): [drm] drmOpen failed basically everything should still be where it used to be(same HD) so I don't understand why this occurs...
