[XFree86] (no subject)

I have just tried to install xfree86 and lyx on a windows xp machine with
cgywin. On running lyx I get an error message saying: unable to access x
display. I have tried configuring lyx using both localhost:0.0 and my Ip
address:0.0 as suggested in the lyx readme.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
