Hello, I'm developing a kind of kiosk application using the DGA mode to get fullscreen access under XFree 4.2.0 and a touchscreen as a input device. Using the MuTouch driver under windowed mode it works fine because I get the absolute touch positions, but in DGA mode I can only get the relative touch positions !! Is there any workaround ?
I've thought unloading the MuTouch driver in runtime and get the touch's events from the serial port directly (I have the code to do it) and reloading the driver when the app is finished. Is it possible ? Where is the API to do this driver management ? I've tried this behaviour with the MuTouch driver loaded but I can't get all the touchscreen events making the workaround useless. Any comment is welcome !
