   There appears to be a problem with the "vesa" driver you are using.
I assume you are using the "vesa" driver because your ATI card is newer
than your XFree86:

(--) PCI:*(1:0:0) ATI unknown chipset (0x5157) rev 0, Mem @ 0xc0000000/27, 0xcd0
00000/16, I/O @ 0x9000/8

   You can try the "ati" driver instead, but if that doesn't
work, I don't see that you have much choice than to upgrade to
something newer that supports that card, which appears to be
a Radeon 7500.
