I have attempted to change monitor type during text install but get an X message that graphics was not configured correctly. After I say Y, Y to the DOS mode graphics complaints and login as root I see messages saying that ddc got bogus values (auto probing of monitor). I think that the bios does not respond to ddc probing in a good way and that flat panel parameters need to be hard-wired (just do not know how). Attached is the XF86Config file after my last reinstall (too many attempts). Note that I did try changing the flat pannel configs (extending sync range from deffault) so I am attachin new log file. thanks
