Hi
My name is Leon Tiedt, and lives in South africa. I have purchased the
following spec notebook :
3.2 P4 with HT
1024 MB Ram
60GB Hdd 7200 rpm
ATI mobility Radeon 9600 128 MB DDR
and then here is my problemo : a screen the functions on a 1440x900
resolution. The laptop Manufacturer is Eurocom and the model is a D470V.
The screen is a 17" but in the 16:9 aspect ratio.
Currently im using everything generic (VESA) on a resolution of
1024x768.
I have downloaded the rpm from ati for a the screen card M10 as they
revere to it. But my system hangs as soon as i boot grapgically into
that. Then i return to my previously XF86config file.
It has been going on like this for a month now. Can anybody please
assist me?
