[XFree86] radeon 7000

I am trying to use a RADEON 7000 VE DDR (PCI) video card with RED HAT 7.3 and XFree86 Version 4.1.0, Linux 2.4.7-0.13.1smp i686 and the X server locks up when I start the GUI I need to know if my video card is compatible and are there any drivers available.   Thanks Mike
