Thank you very much.

I'm using a program for seismic analyses that plot seismograms (and other
things) in a separate window (which I'm calling it a subwindow) that is
opened by this program. This subwindow is not stable. When I move it to the
front I loose the plot on it. It seems the problem is with the configuration
of XFree86. Now I'd like to know how to configure XFree86 in order to keep
the plot in this subwindow.
Please, let me know which file(s) should I chande in order to get this
configuration donne correctly
