I first looked into DDC, but I don't want to use LRMI ( plus it says its 'not safe', but it seems fine on my system).
I would like a way to find the monitor type and video adapter type -- if this is kept anyplace, let me know.
I'm writing a monitoring system in c/c++ and would like to a way for each node to report this info to a central server.
