I'm installing the XFree86 4.4.0 using the Xinstall.sh script, the excutation of the script happens whitout a problem, good :-), but when i run the command XFree86 -configure returns the following error mensage:
"# XFree86 -configure
XFree86: error while loading shared libraries: libz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
# "
Any idea how to finish the instalation? I'm using the Linux Kernel 2.4.18 on a pentium MMX "# uname -a Linux Byron 2.4.18 #2 Sat Jul 24 10:41:29 GMT 2004 i586 unknown # "
