Hi,

I am running a Debian Testing on a Dell Inspiron 510m w/ the standards
i810/i830 drivers. Although my screen has a native resolution of 1400x1050, I
can't use it due to a buggy BIOS from Dell. So I use the 1280x1024
resolution.

Everything work fine, except the full screen mode with MPlayer. When I want to
launch a movie with the SDL library (mplayer -vo sdl), everything work until
I switch to the full screen mode.

Sometimes (very rarely), it works, but in general, something crashes. I don't
know if it is XFree. When it happens, I can't kill X (with
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace) and I can't go back to a virtual console (with
Ctrl+Alt+F[1-6]). All I can do is Ctrl+Alt+Del which reboots the computer
properly. (It's not so bad :)

Some elements of answer ?
