Hi All,
I have downloaded the source for XFree86 4.4.0 and successfully compiled it and
installed it by doing make install. Now when i run the X server ,either
standalone or by xdm or by xinit , i get the following error. though xinit
seems to work and starts the xterm session , after which i can start the window
manager .
My problem is that I cant start the KDE ( I know I dont have to start any
window manager for doing that ) using startkde script. Previously I had X (
came installed with my distribution Red Hat 9 ). and every thing worked all
right. And these errors were not given . what could be the problem.
