XFree86 doesn't allow per-screen configuration of backing store,
nor does it allow exclusion of ALWAYS, nor does it distinguish
backing store from save unders. Adding +bs to the server commandline
(eg: "startx -- +bs") will enable backing store and save unders for
the whole server.
