[XFree86] Need help

Hello.

I am Linux beginner.

I have Mandrake 10 linux at home and GeForce FX 5500 video adapter.

I have problems with installation of video drivers.

I downloaded 1.0-7174 version of video drivers for my AGP card.

But after installation I have some errors:

“Failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphic device”

“Screen(s) found, but none have usable configuration”

 

In readme file NVIDIA says that I must edit xorg.conf file but I haven’t such at my linux.

I have only XF86Config and XF86Config-4.

Which file I must edit and which sections ?
