Hello, I want to use chinese font for redhat 5.2 application (XFree86 3.3.5).
In /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/fonts.alias, I find following entry: hanzigb16st "-isas-song ti-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-160-gb2312.1980-0" hanzigb24st "-isas-song ti-medium-r-normal--24-240-72-72-c-240-gb2312.1980-0" hanzigb16fs "-isas-fangsong ti-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-160-gb2312.1980-0" In /usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc, I find three files look like chinese font file: gb16fs.pcf.gz gb16st.pcf.gz, gb24st.pcf.gz But when use xlsfonts, none of them in the list. I can find kanji 16 and kanji 24. And my application already use that, which mean 16 bit font can be used for my application. How to install chinese font to system ?
