Hi, What will be xHarbour's next version number?
Looking at all what's changed since version 1.01 BETA, I don't think we can have a small incremental increase of our version number. I mean, if latest official version is 1.01 BETA, changes are so huge we can not just call next xHarbour 1.02 BETA. In my opinion, we should had to do bugfixes on the 1.01 branch and start the new things in a new 1.1 or even 1.5 branch. The new GT we have, that's not a bug fix and not a "small version incremental change" ;-) I think we need someone like Phil on Harbour. Someone who manages version control. To be honest, our version control can be done better. :) I know you guys are all passionate programmers who create unbelievable great software. But that great software needs someone to manage it better.
