It's very easy... if you're using tortoisecvs:

- Right click, and select "CVS" > "Update special..."
- Check "Get tag/branch/revision" and select the correct branch in the 
combo. If it's not there, click on "update list"
- Once you have all in your HD, make the desired changes. You may have those 
changes in another dir and syncronize both using winmerge or another similar 
tool.
- Commit the changes as regular
- Use again "CVS" > "Update special..." to return to the "HEAD" branch

If nobody do it now, I'll can do it this evening, in a few hours. Now I have 
to go out.

BTW, I sent you a private msg some time ago, about reconfiguring this 
mailing list to avoid using "reply to all" every time. If you want I can 
tell you how to do it.
