In theory, you should be able to drop it in. But it may be better to just copy your db directory into it, rather than the other way around. Don't forget. This is an experiment. It's not part of the CVS repository, and probably won't be for a while.


You won't notice a speed improvement. Actually, it's slower because of the fact that the CORBA layer used wire compression, and we can't do that with XML-RPC without throwing interoperability out of the window. I'm sure there will be opportunities for optimization, but at this point, I just wanted to get it working.
