I was able to fix this particular case by adding a flush() to BTree.create.
I went ahead and committed it, but you should probably make sure that's the right place.

I'm hoping we can do a RC2 release on Monday. What's the next name you want to use?

I'm also close to getting a site setup on the Apache server so that we can avoid any more direct links to dbxml.org. I just need to get added to the proper group and I should be able to finally put something up. For now I'll probably just have it redirect, but I want to make sure we have an apache URL to publish before a new release.

I think it may have something to do with flush() not being called on creation and the root pages of the btrees not being properly written out if nothing else happens to the file. Hopefully, it should be an easy fix.
