Do we want to try the file naming change to avoid reserved filename issues? It's an easy fix.
I'm inclined to say let's wait. As it stands right now we don't absolutely need to rebuild the database, in 1.1 we will. I want to make sure we have a clean and easy way to go about it and right now it isn't completely clear. This issue is really minor too.
BTW, did you back out the compressed database configuration change?
I guess this is the major call really, if we need to require database rebuilds then both can go in, otherwise both stay out. My feeling is that if you have 1.0rc1 databases that are working fine then you don't need a rebuild and I'd like to avoid forcing it.
