Hi,

Is there some like user access management in 1.0 ?
or comes it in 1.x ?

Security will come somewhere in 1.x. Maybe starting in a simple form in 1.
1 through the new API. Even if we just used simple HTTP basic auth it would be better then nothing. Something we should definitely consider as it is a pretty major issue too.

Betreff: Goals for 1.1

I'm working on clarifying the planning a little more, but I wanted to make sure we're at least on the same page for 1.1. Right now I'm seeing 1.1 having three major changes.

1. Replacing CORBA with XML-RPC.
2. Proper UTF-8 support in the entire system
3. Getting support jars up to current versions.

Is there anything else that we should strive for in the next release? My
opinion is that we should keep it relatively simple, in
particular because
the encoding issues really concern me.
