Let me package it up in some form this evening. I'm just leaving
for the day right now. Please note that the extension feature is
still in development. You can (as I mentioned) get a copy of an
implementation of the XNode API I wrote in the Java Web Services
Developer Pack (which also has a copy of Xindice). The demo
application is called "Indri" and provides XNode-based access to
a Xindice database.

You'll find it amongst the Java WSDP Registry Server, I believe it's
in the samples folder. There's no source code included (if I remember
correctly) so I'll send along the API tomorrow. Note that I'll also
have an implementation of XNode in my Ceryle application, which is
part of my Ph.D. project, first deliveries later this spring. XNode
was designed to be *simple*, as apart from other things labeled as
such lately.
