Seems like a good idea. Anytime you can be independent of a particular RPC
tool, that seems good.
(the XML:DB client code I started is not at all independent (yet))

Guys,
I don't want to get too much off on a tangent,
but from working with the
XML-RPC API and
in thinking about a a
SOAP/Axis API, I've been writing a somewhat
generic
RPCAPIException
class that would serve both API's. If this
is what we think we want, I'll
continue working on it (along with
the
XML-RPC unit tests).
Thoughts?
