Your comments were interesting to read... On this last point, I would rephrase the question from "how IS it being used" to "how COULD it be used". My belief still is that a whole new audience would open up once these specific issues are tackled.
Of course now I can see that most people (at least those that have spoken up) generally confirmed a desire for user management, the question is how to get there.... This is the tricky part! ;)
