Java projects can't be OS-agnostic. Do you write 'build.sh' or 'build.bat' 'c:\xml-xindice' or '/usr/local/java/xml-xindice' in the documentation?
I prefer to use the Unix notation, that's all. But feel free to modify the documentation for the Windows OS.
