It seems this message has been appearing for a while. Is Gump trying to build this against a release version of Xalan or against one built from CVS?
xmldb-commons uses xalan-1.x (not supported anymore) xmldb-xupdate uses xalan-2.0.1 and xmldb-commons xindice uses xalan-2.4.0 and xmldb-xupdate xalan-cvs is not compatible with xalan-2.4.0
well, we really have a versioning problem
