With my previous commit we have now three libraries that arent in sync with their official implementation: xmldb-api, xmldb-commons and xmldb-xupdate. I see two problems here:

1. source code for the modifications right now sits on Vladimir's PC and on mine. This is no good: how about storing at least the diffs somewhere in the repository?

2. we have three non-official versions of the jars, but since it looks like the XML:DB group is quite reluctant to accept any changes, we are pretty stuck. I'd suggest then to at least mark them as "patched", changing their name to xmldb-api.PATCHED.jar, xmldb-xupdate.PATCHED.jar and so on (of course any other naming scheme would do). How about it?

Ciao,
