A little more detail, we can elect one or two people and we must have 
this to the PMC by the 6th. It's probably a good idea to elect two 
people.

I'm not clear on the details of what's involved in this, but this 
person will act as a representative for the project to the XML PMC. I 
believe we can actually elect two people, maybe one primary and one 
backup. I'll try to find out more and post it.

I'm going to include the names of everyone who is listed as a 
committer. If you do not want to be considered for this role then 
please vote for someone else and indicate your wish to not take the 
role. We don't have time to first find out who's actually interested.
